Year 7 Sports Scholarship

The Chessington School Sports Scholarship programme is aimed at current Year 6 students who excel in one or more sports and have ambitions to study sport or go into sporting careers.

Scholarship Programme Benefits

Additional PE lesson (Year 7 only)
Free of charge morning Sport Sessions (Basketball, Football, Athletics, Badminton, Netball, Rock Climbing, Handball, Rounders, Cricket etc.) run by Specialist Coaches and Teachers
Opportunities to represent the school in fixtures and borough competitions
Designated sports specific trips (previous trips include a visit to the London Stadium & Surrey Sports Park)
Club links with Kingston Wildcats & Chessington + Hook FC
Opportunities to purchase sport specific attire

What To Do Now

Please complete the following Google Form to register your interest in our Sport Scholarship Programme.

Trials will be available in January. Sports scholars are chosen once you have selected Chessington School as your first choice school and been offered/accepted a place.

Sports Scholar Kit

Students who are part of the Sports Scholarship programme will have the opportunity to purchase a personalised sports scholar kit from Halbro.
