Governor Vacancies

Chessington School values its Governors’ breadth of experience and skills and recognises the contribution that Governors make to the success of the school, supporting the principal and staff to ensure that each pupil can achieve their fullest potential. The School has a strong sense of community and commitment to serve others and is continually improving to ensure that the highest standards of teaching, learning and personal behaviour are maintained.

The Governor’s role is strategic, not operational therefore there is no need to have any previous experience or knowledge of education, or specialist qualifications, just enthusiasm, commitment and an interest in education and enriching young minds. All Governors are volunteers who serve a term of four years and give a commitment of their time and skills in the interest of the School and its community.

Should you be interested in becoming a Governor at Chessington School then please send your CV to the Clerk to the Governors (clerk@chessington.kingston.sch.uk) and when a vacancy becomes available we will let you know.

Thank you for your interest.
