DEAR - Drop Everything and Read

Chessington School students and staff love to read!  We have DEAR sessions, independent focussed reading activity time, where students read and enjoy the books they want, just for the pleasure of reading.

On the day, students bring a reading book of their choice into school and sit quietly and read for period 6.  Students from the school book club walk around with a few books to loan to those who may have forgotten their book on the day.
